What is a zine?
A zine, short for magazine, is a collaborative fan project in which fans for a certain piece of media, or a certain theme, come together to create content!
What is the zine’s theme?
Anything around the game Project Sekai Colorful Stage! It can be linked to the stories of the characters, the songs or even the events in-game!
Is NSFW allowed in the zine?
No. This zine is strictly SFW.
Can I participate if I’m under 18?
Yes! Anyone over 16 can apply to this zine!
How will contributors be compensated?
Contributors will receive a copy of the digital zine and digital merch regardless of sales.
If the sales allow, contributors will receive compensation ranging from a zine-only bundle to a full bundle for free, including any possible stretch goals. Monetary compensation will depend on the interest check results!
Are AU’s and Headcanons allowed?
Yes, definitely! We want each piece to feel personal and unique!
Will ships get showcased?
Ships will not be showcased in this zine, if you want to showcase relationships keep it platonic!
Are you only sending responses to contributors who are accepted?
Everyone will receive an email regardless of acceptance or not!
Can I apply for more than one position?
Of course! However you are likely to be accepted for one, but you can apply for as many as you’d like!
Do pitches have a big influence on my application?
They are not the first thing we look at of course, but pitches will showcase partially how motivated you are, and thus are a big plus when two applicants have a similar skill level. Your pitches may be the thing that inclines us to accept you over another contributor.
Will moderators be allowed to contribute?
Yes, but they will have to submit an application as well.
Are you giving feedback?
If asked, via email yes!
Can I reuse a piece that I created earlier?
All pieces must be original and created exclusively for this zine!
Will pitches be assigned, or will we get to choose?
While filling your Application Form, you will be asked for your pitches and an order of preference! When Apps close mods will assign pitches so each group gets equal spotlight (or at least as much as possible). Please keep in mind that you might not get your first choice if the characters are really popular!
When will I be allowed to post my full piece publicly?
After pre-orders close and buyers have received their package, you will be allowed to post your full piece. You may post previews on your social media after the final submission deadline!
Can I use my piece in portfolios after I finish it?
Of course! However, you need to follow the same guidelines as the question above!
Can I sell my finished piece/use it on personal merchandise?
Yes. You may do so after leftover sales have ended
